Jeff Tomczak was born to Gene & Paulette Tomczak founders of Show Your Colors Flag Company. The company was founded in 1986 in Aurora, Colorado as a family-owned, home-based business. The idea took flight with $500 and quickly became successful following the first Gulf War and a deluge of customers. The business grew into a small, retail storefront in 1993 until Jeff took over the family buiness in 1996.

Prior to this time, Jeff was enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Security Police Officer and K-9 Drug & Bomb Detection Specialist. Jeff received numerous medals and citations including two AF Commendation Medals and two AF Achievement Medals in support of Operation Bright Star '90, Operation Fiery Vigil and numerous other operartions which provided the protection of lives and property.
Unit Citations:
Jeff attended the Community College of the Air Force and received a degree in Criminal Justice in 1992. Following the closure of Lowry AFB, Jeff continued his career as a Federal Police Officer in Denver and continued formal education at Metro State College. Jeff also received his diploma for Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) as a Colorado Peace Officer in 1994.
Jeff has been active in charitable projects throughout his lifetime including fund-raising projects for the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethons for Muscular Dystrophy; Big Brother's of Metro Denver; Flagpole donations and installation to the Ronald McDonald House in Denver, Handler for Therapy Dogs at nursing homes for the elderly in Aurora and volunteering for charity race events like the 5k Race for the Fetal Hope Foundation.
Today, Jeff oversees a modest operation of 8 people with annual revenues exceeding $1M annually. Daily responsibilities include design and implementation of e-commerce website, accounting and outside sales.
Jeff is married to Rene--together they have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
